Q Link Pendants For Helping Our Bodies

The majority of our society is overloaded with stress from negative energy occurring in our environment. How many times do you recall feeling unable to cope with the stresses and strains of the day experienced at work or at play? For many this number is significantly high.

Your body is being invaded - electronically - by frequencies that do grievous harm to your body's balance and harmony. Fortunately, there is a solution: the srt-3 pendant, specially designed to fight negative frequencies from such emf sources as angry clients, crabby supervisors, PCs, and mobile phones.

For those fighting feelings of fatigue we have a product called q-link. One way to carry q-link is by wearing the Q-link Pendant, which produces an inaudible resonance that helps the body become more able to fight stress and fatigue while keeping the body balanced.

Most people today have daily usage of cell phones and computers and other negative frequencies. Thus many people are fatigued from those negative frequencies. Another issue is that many people are working more hours a day and their jobs encompass higher levels of stress. This causes many people to benefit from a q link product.

In deciding whether or not to purchase the q-link pendant, it is important to remember that it is recommended by physicians. These highly trained medical professionals have obviously seen substantial improvement and acknowledge the remarkable benefits of using the q-link pendant. Significant results have been proven in the studies done on the q-link.

The new technology uses a unique concept to combat the negative effects that we cannot see or hear by ourselves. Many people are already using these products, and most of them report than they now feel less stress and fatigue. These products can also improve mental awareness and reduce the negative impact of jet lag.

Mental awareness affects everyone, from the young to the elderly. Alert children in school retain more information. People, as they grow older, notice they need to work on their mental awareness to keep it from diminishing.

Cubic Zirconia Pendants

As many students are preparing to start University or enter their final year, it won't be long before your son or daughter is able to put letters after their name. Of course, upon completion of university comes the big task of finding that perfect graduation gift, and as parents look to cut back on the little luxuries due to the recession, you're urged not to overlook the importance of a simple, thoughtful graduation gift to your loved one to show them how proud you are of their achievements. So, if you have a precious daughter, why not look at Cubic Zirconia Pendants as a gift to remember.

Keep It Simple

You might be wondering just why the recommendation for a graduation gift is to buy a cubic zirconia pendant, but if you understand your daughter then you will appreciate that jewellery is in-demand and women love to receive beautiful gifts of jewellery. For a graduation you don't want to be ostentatious with your jewellery choice, so try and keep it simple with a stylish cubic zirconia solitaire pendant that reflects just how grown-up your daughter is now.

Treat The Boys Too

Okay, so you can't buy your son a cubic zirconia pendant, but you could always consider a stylish men's bracelet or ring with a stunning simulated stone in. Jewellery is always a valued gift but when it comes to graduating, it just feels like it means so much more. A simple, cost-effective reward means everything and your son or daughter will treasure it forever. It's not like a bottle of wine or champagne that will get drunk on the night of graduation and then be forgotten about 6 months down the line. A piece of jewellery can be worn and enjoyed for many years to come. Just ask any woman about her jewellery collection - there will be pieces in there that she has treasured for years.

Credit Crunch Busting Cubic Zirconia

We all know the recession is tough but don't let your children's graduation go unnoticed. Cubic zirconia gifts can be very reasonably priced and you could even tie it in with their birthday if needs be, to really save those pennies. After all, students graduate today with so much debt that a small token of affection from their parents means a lot. Plus, it will remind them of many happy times at University. They can place the cubic zirconia pendant or suchlike in their jewellery box and every time they see it it will make them remember really good times. You can give the gift that leaves as a lasting impression when you give cubic zirconia pendants.

How to Choose a Chandelier Or Pendant

One of the most beautiful and elegant forms of lighting is the chandelier. A stained glass chandelier or pendant of the right kind and size can add a whole new dimension to a room.

Both chandeliers and pendants are lighting fixtures hung from the ceiling. A chandelier has many arms and light bulbs. A pendant has one shade and usually one light bulb. The size of the room determines which is used.

Stained Glass Chandelier for the Dining Room

Traditionally, you hang chandeliers in the dining rooms, adding atmosphere to the dining experience. Chandeliers and pendants work best with dimmers in dining areas. You can control the light mood from a state formal dinner to an intimate dinner for two and every mood in between.

Pendants and Chandeliers in Foyers & Lobbies

The use of chandeliers or pendants in foyers and lobbies has grown immensely popular this century, Depending on the size of your lobby or foyer, a chandelier or pendant is an excellent way of providing ambient lighting to greet guests and to assure safe passage into other areas of your home.

Bedrooms, Family Rooms and Kitchens

Recently, chandeliers and pendants are appearing in other rooms of the house, including bedrooms, kitchens, family rooms, and bathrooms.

You use chandeliers and pendants with shades designed with bulbs facing down to adequately light game tables, homework areas, kitchen islands or to accent table settings. Chandeliers with bulbs facing up reduce glare and provide artistic elements and mood lighting to a room.

Proper Way to Hang a Chandelier in a Dining Room

For the chandelier lighting to have the right impact on the room and its décor, the light must be hung properly. Here are a few tips to follow while hanging a chandelier light:

A chandelier hung in the dining room should hang in the middle of the dining table and the room. It is best to buy a chandelier that is about a foot smaller than the width of your dinning table.

The bottom of the chandelier should be 30-34 inches above the table. Stained glass chandeliers have multiple bulbs and tend to shed a lot of light and heat. The amount of illumination that you will need for the dining room is based upon this formula: Length X Width X 1.5.

If a room is 12 X 15, then you will need bulbs that produce a combined total of roughly 270 watts. A chandelier with 6-40 watt will most likely provide adequate illumination, especially if complemented by wall sconces, buffet lamps, or other light fixtures.

Choosing a Chandelier or Pendant for Other Rooms

When choosing a chandelier for a foyer or other room keep in mind the length and width of the room. In general, the size of the room and its height determines the size of the chandelier or pendant.

Measure the length and width of the room, and add the numbers together, rounding to the nearest foot. For example, if your room measures 14' long and 10' wide add 14 to 10, with a result of 24'. Your chandelier or pendant should be 24 inches in diameter, and hang high enough to clear a tall person's head.

A dimmer should control a chandelier or pendant. Make sure that the dimmer works with the type of bulbs you are using. Incandescent, fluorescent, halogen bulbs all need specifically designed dimmers.

You may want to conceal the wire or chain of the chandelier or pendant with a sleeve of some decorative fabric.

Ambiance and Warmth With Pendant Lighting

A single room may seem to be just that, simple, able to be transformed into something more detailed but without different areas. However, with carefully chosen light fixtures and other lighting for home, you can create rooms with a room, small zones that can be designated for different and specific purposes.

For example, if you are looking to redesign your living room, you could perhaps divide it into small areas in which guests or family members may sit. Do this by using pendant lighting to focus in on each area. The same technique can be used to separate a lounging area of a room from the rest. Place a light fixtures and home lights above the couch to show it as a separate zone.

Maybe you want to work on something completely different: You are changing your bedroom around. Ambience can be easily achieved if you use pendant lighting as your preferred light fixtures. A master bedroom can instantly be made more romantic and generally appealing using home lights.

Place a pendant light fixture with a dimmer above the bed to add an easy way to change the atmosphere of the room to a more sensual setting at a mere turn of a knob. You can also add a row of pendants or other preferable light fixtures above the headboard to bring focus on it, if it is something elaborate or attractively designed.

Completely disregarding the bed, pendant lighting can be placed near a dressing area where wall lights might normally be placed, in order to cast a fresh luminesce on the area. This will allow easier viewing of clothing and simply adds something new. Pendants can be used for more than just general lighting for home. If you have a desk in your bedroom because of lack of room, pendant lights can work there as well. Instead of wall lights or a desk lamp, use a pendant lighting fixture instead--you will have increased light and they will help zone off your work area from the rest of the room.

Wash Yourself Your Pendant

This is a great project for a rainy day...or any day! You can make several of them at once, and decide how far you want to go with them. Hang them from a simple cord, or use them as a centerpiece on your own beaded masterpiece.

Materials:

Washer (from any hardware store or your own toolbox)
Origami Paper (available online or at specialty craft stores)
Diamond Glaze (crafting adhesive medium, available at craft stores)
Craft sticks
X-ACTO Knife
Craft cutting board
Wax paper
Small grit sandpaper

Optional Materials:

Pour-On Epoxy (2 part mix is best, just mix up what you need)
Liquid Leaf (silver, by Plaid, available at craft and hardware stores)
Cotton Swabs

Start with selecting the section of your origami paper that you want to show on the pendant, and place the pendant over the area you want to cut. It is VERY important that you have a sharp exacto blade, or you may tear your paper. Cut around your washer first, and without moving the washer, cut the interior circle second. You should be able to push the cut piece right through, but if not, turn your origami paper over to the white side and just follow your edges you've created with your exacto knife until it is completely cut. Lay aside.

Place your washer on the wax paper. Place 4 drops of diamond glaze on the surface side of the washer you want to cover (I always cover the smoother, rounder side). Spread with craft stick, it's okay if some spills over the edge a little, you can clean it later. Place your origami cutting directly on the diamond glaze and press down. You should see some of the diamond glaze ooze out, and that's good...you want to make sure it's good and stuck! Then, add 4 more drops of diamond glaze to the top of your origami paper and spread around again. Let this dry...about an hour, depending on how much diamond gaze you used on top.

When your washer is dry, carefully remove it from the wax paper. Use your small grit sand paper to remove the extra diamond glaze from the sides and bottom of washer. You may choose to do the other side repeating the same instructions, but it is not necessary. Your pendant is now ready to string, unless you want the "high-gloss" option I've instructed below.

High Gloss Option

After your pendant is dry, remove to fresh piece of wax paper. Mix your epoxy per instructions on label, and remember, you don't need very much....about a tablespoon will cover several. After your epoxy is thoroughly mixed, very slowly and carefully pour over your pendant, trying not to get too much on, about 1/8" or less...you can spread it around with your craft stick to even it out. When you're done spreading your epoxy, you must let your pendant dry for 24-72 hours, depending on the thickness of the pour. I know it seems like a long time, but if you've made several it doesn't seem so long...and the wait is totally worth it! When the epoxy is dry, use your sandpaper on the sides and back to remove the excess dried epoxy. After sanding, I then use the Liquid Leaf and a cotton swab, and just dot the entire back of the washer to give it a "hammered" appearance. When this dries (about 30 minutes or less) put a quick coat of diamond glaze over the top, and your high gloss pendant is complete!

I hope these instructions will help you...it was a lot of trial and error for me to get this formula right, and hopefully you'll be able to make some beautiful pendants for yourself or for gifts this holiday season.

Buying White Gold Pearl Pendants

When you're in the market looking for the perfect souvenir or gift item, you should look at white gold pearl pendants. These are especially common when you visit states and countries near the sea. You'd find the cheapest and most exquisite white gold pearl pendants when you visit islands like Hawaii or Japan.
You need to be very careful, though when you shop for these jewelry items. While white gold and pearls are both equally precious, they're also the easiest ones to be imitated. You'd want to get the real deal when you're shopping for these items. Remember, dealers are only too keen on spotting the most clueless of tourists in the area.

Examining the pearl

When you buy your white gold pearl pendants, the first thing you need to look at is the authenticity of the pearls. There are two basic types of pearls in the market: cultured and uncultured. Cultured pearls are more perfect in shape and sheen, although they're not necessarily more valuable compared to uncultured pearls. Natural or uncultured pearls, on the other hand, tend to be smaller and less perfect, although they're sold on bands or almost similar sizes and shapes.

However, some jewelry dealers may try to sell off painted white beads to you when they know that you're not an expert buyer of pearls. The best way for you to text the authenticity of the pearl in the pendant is to have the dealer scrape off a little bit of it from the edge. If it's an authentic pearl, the surface won't loose its sheen even if a bit off the top is scraped off. The residue of this scraping action should also be powder-like in consistency.

When a painted bead is scraped off, on the other hand, there will be a huge discrepancy between the appearance of the surface and the bottom of the bead. Most beads which are made to pass off as pearls are either white in color or transparent.

Examining the white gold

The second thing you should look at when you're shopping for white gold pearl pendants is the white gold clasp or coin. If you're purchasing a teardrop pearl pendant, and there's very little of the white gold to look at in the first place, the only way you can be sure that it is authentic gold and not silver is to compare it with either a silver piece of jewelry or another white G piece.

White G is just a notch whiter than most silver pieces. You can also try asking the dealer if you can wear the piece of jewelry under water. If it's a silver clasp or coin, the jeweler will say no. White G, on the other hand, can be worn without worry even when you're taking a shower or swimming. It won't rust or fade as easily as a silver piece would.

Best places to buy

While a lot of people would be daring the black markets to purchase white G pearl pendants, this is hardly the safest place to trade if you're unsure about what you're looking at. If you want a safer purchase, you should only buy from accredited jewelry shops in the area. They might be a little pricier than the stalls off the street, but at least they won't run away with your money if the piece of jewelry you bought turns out to be less than the real thing.

Diamond Cross Pendant

Is there a special woman in your life that deserves an extra special gift? You might consider that jewelry classic - the diamond cross pendant. It is a gift that is always appropriate and always appreciated for its beauty and meaning.

Women of every age can wear diamond cross pendants anywhere, whether they are religious or not. A diamond cross always look right, whether at a church service or at sophisticated cocktail parties. Diamond cross pendants can be beautiful symbols of faith or merely understated fashion accents.

You may be surprised at the many styles are available. Crosses are available with just a simple diamond at the center of a gold, silver or even wooden cross. Or, the cross may be made up solely of the diamonds and their settings. Very tiny simple crosses look lovely on a little girl at her Baptism or First Communion. Teenagers and young adults often opt for larger, ornate crosses with diamonds of varying sizes. These go particularly well with today's Gothic look. Quite often there are matching rings and earrings available to make a lovely set.

Diamonds don't have to be the sole gemstone on your cross pendant. Women often like to combine their diamonds with their birthstone or other favored gems. One wonderful idea is to have a diamond cross pendant studded with the birthstones of her husband, her children and/or her grandchildren. Or, you can make one to match their diamond promise ring. These become cherished heirlooms.

There are hardly any occasions in which it would be inappropriate to give a diamond cross. Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries are ideal occasions as well as weddings and special religious observances. Milestones such as Confirmations, graduations and retirements can be marked with this precious jewelry. Giving it at Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Sweetest Day would be appreciated too. "Just because" gifts are often the best of all.

Presenting the pendant in an elegant gift box is always right. But why not make the presentation extra special: This Easter put the pendant inside a hollow chocolate Easter egg or bunny. Hang it around the neck of an Easter stuffed animal. If you're not giving it at Easter, try to find another occasion-related item in which to hide the pendant. Or, hang it from the rearview mirror of her car? (In any event, make sure she finds it. There is a story of a valuable engagement ring being hidden in a chocolate Easter egg. The intended did not open it right away and in fact, exchanged the egg (and the ring) for something else. The story goes the ring was never found.) Don't let this happen to you.

A diamond cross pendant is a beautiful gift that never goes out of style. Give her a gift she will treasure always. She will always remember and appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Astrology Charms And Pendants

Add some serious star quality to your wardrobe with a charm or necklace pendant featuring an astrological symbol that marks your special place in the universe.

For thousands of years, both eastern and western civilizations have related celestial bodies such as the sun, moon, planets, and constellations to earthly events and human affairs. Today you can pay tribute to yourself and the cosmos in style, by displaying your personal astrological sign or zodiac symbol on gleaming precious metal jewelry. Or make someone special feel like the center of your world with the gift of an astrological jewelry keepsake.

Welcome Signs of Life: Western Astrology

The roots of western astrology trace back to Mesopotamia in the second millennium BC, and later developments in Egypt, Greece, and the New World led to the creation of the familiar system based on twelve different constellations for twelve birth months. Some call astrology a pseudoscience, but its signs of life, representing the aspect of the heavens at the moment of birth, hold special appeal for many folks. Whether you are a Pisces, Taurus, or Capricorn, you no doubt recognize your horoscope symbol and the personality traits it represents.

With astrology jewelry you can display your horoscope as either the traditional representative symbol or as a creative pictorial representation. For example, Gemini could be either the traditional two vertical lines representing twins, or an image of two joined human figures. Or add a really unique and mysterious twist by using the Chinese symbol translation of your horoscope sign.

Animal Instincts: The Chinese Zodiac

The Chinese have always revered animals, and they chose to pay homage to these special creatures by ascribing each birth year in their twelve year Zodiac cycle to one of twelve beasts. Believed to originate during the ancient Shang dynasty circa 1600-1046 BC, the Chinese zodiac aligns human personalities with traits of the animals associated with those particular years.

Were you born in the Year of the Monkey or the Year of the Horse? Whichever heavenly animal rules your existence, you can bring it down to earth beautifully in an elegant Chinese zodiac charm or pendant. Be forthright about your animal instincts with an image of your feature creature, or keep others guessing with an exotic translation of the animal in mysterious Chinese symbols.

Both western and eastern civilizations have rich astrology traditions. Astrology jewelry is not only a wonderful way to celebrate these traditions, but it will also express some clues about your own personality as well. A horoscope or zodiac pendant or charm gives a glimpse into the person behind the jewelry.

Celtic Jewelry

What is Celtic art?
You must have seen many silver pendants with unusual designs like crosses, various kinds of knots, interlaced patterns as well as unusual symbols like doves, encircled triquetra, welsh dragons etc. These unusual designs are called Celtic art and bear their roots in ancient history. There was a time when the Celts ruled entire Europe, including England. The Celts had their own varieties of Celtic arts such as tattoos, symbols and designs. The most typical aspects of Celtic design and art include spirals, patterns that interlace with one another, various forms of knotwork as well as other animal forms and zoomorphics.

Usage of Celtic art in jewelry

Celtic patterns have always been perceived as having a unique appearance of their own. Their designs and art immediately catch the viewer's attention. Because of these reasons, celtic patterns have been widely used in jewelry especially silver ones. They are commonly found in silver pendants where the knotwork is predominantly popular. In silver earrings they usually use the motifs of the animal forms on them. Silver bracelets can use a wide variety of interlaced patterns that lend intrigue and charm to a bracelet.

Celtic spiral

A Celtic spiral refers to the ultimate symbol of power. It depicts three arms springing out of a center. This spiral was known as the Secret Fire by alchemists. Later on the three legged and four legged patterns evolved from this original design. The four legged design came to be known as the Swastika later on. Celtic spirals look fabulous on silver pendants because of their big, central design element. Therefore, even with a fairly thin strand of silver, these patterns make a pendant look gorgeous.

Usage in earrings

Celtic patterns are also extensively used in silver earrings. Usually for such pieces, dainty, small patterns are chosen else they tend to overshadow the piece itself. Many of these silver earrings will have various types of Celtic knots in them. Some of the knots include rounded Celtic knots, Celtic knotted vines, There can also be double or single strand knots depending on the weightage needed.

Usage in pendants

In silver pendants also Celtic designs have gained in popularity. Most of the Celtic patterns adapted for pendants include various Celtic knots, Celtic hearts, as well as various animal motifs. The Trinity Celtic knot remains the most preferred pattern for pendants.

Usage in bracelets

The one good thing about silver bracelets is that since these adorn the wrist, they need not have a single focal point, as in the case of a pendant or a earring. Bracelets are free to use any Celtic pattern as long as it looks aesthetic enough. Some of the popular Celtic patterns include serpents, Celtic roses, Celtic doves, Celtic knots, especially the 'triquetra' knot. The types of knots include double cross knots, single and double stranded knots etc. The other popular forms of Celtic art include spirals, animal cliparts, Celtic borders, backgrounds, etc. that are widely used in silver bracelets.
